Notes on our F800ST shield sizes:
Our large 23" shields are suitable for riders about 5'6" to 5'8". Taller riders will get a quieter ride from our medium 21.5" shields. This is because of the unfortunate choice of windshield angle made by BMW which means we cannot make shields as tall as we would like. The XL shield requires handlebar risers: if you use it with the stock handlebars, the top edge will be uncomfortably close to your face.

The screen is brilliant. It is like driving in a car with an open side window.
I have tried many other types (BMW extended, Kappa, some adaptors etc). This is the only one that really works. Sometimes I don't even close my visor to see the landscape better & you feel more 'connected' if you understand what I mean
Thanks & regards.

Your design is perfect for the BMW F650(twin)/800GS. (3 other windshields to compare it to)
Followed your instructions on measuring carefully before I ordered and now when I'm going down the road, the horizon line is about 4 inches above the top of the windshield with no wind in my face, no buffeting - with a half-helmet (no shield) in January!
Thanks for figuring out what really works. BMW Motorad should definitely contract with you for windshield design.
Thanks again for taking the time and energy to fix something that benefits all of us wilderness riders that have to travel highways at 75-80mph to get to the backcountry trails.
With graditude,
Marc
