Most after market windshields for the GS series follow this design. Our experience and opinion is that this results in the outside lower portion of the shield acting like an upside-down wing, pulling air under and around the bottom of the windshield and drawing it into your ribs and up your chest, reducing windshield effectiveness and increasing noise and turbulence at your helmet. Our GS shields do not fold back and form these wings at the lower corners, and therefore do not produce these effects.
